1. Who we are and what these Terms cover

These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to your use of the HiveFoldr app ("HiveFoldr", formerly called NivasIQ), provided by Gorantla Labs.

Gorantla Labs is an independent software studio based in the United Kingdom. Gorantla Labs is not currently a registered UK limited company. HiveFoldr is provided by Sivasankar Gorantla, trading as Gorantla Labs.

By creating an account or otherwise using HiveFoldr, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use HiveFoldr.

These Terms apply only to HiveFoldr. They are separate from, and do not form part of, the terms of use for the gorantlalabs.com website.

2. What HiveFoldr is for

HiveFoldr helps you keep track of your home: your property and home information, documents and warranties, tasks and reminders, expenses, and — where you choose to use them — its AI-powered features. HiveFoldr is a tool to help you organise your own information; it does not manage your home or make decisions on your behalf.

3. Your account

You need an account to use HiveFoldr. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account, to keep your login details secure, and to let us know if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

4. The Essential plan and subscriptions

HiveFoldr currently offers the Essential plan, which includes:

  • 1 home;
  • 1 GB of storage for that home's documents and photos;
  • PDF uploads of up to 20 MB each;
  • image uploads of up to 10 MB each;
  • no video uploads;
  • Ask HiveFoldr: 10 questions per month; and
  • AI document analysis: 10 documents per month.

Other core home-management records — such as rooms, assets, warranties, tasks, reminders, expenses, renovation projects and trades — are not limited by how many you can add. These limits are also shown within the app and may change from time to time.

If we introduce additional paid plans or in-app purchases in future, their features and pricing will be described within the App Store listing and at the point of purchase. Any such purchases would be billed and processed by Apple through the App Store, and would be subject to Apple's own terms, including its refund policies. We do not process your payment card details directly.

5. AI features

HiveFoldr includes optional AI-powered features — Ask HiveFoldr and AI document analysis — which require your consent before first use. You can decline or revoke this consent at any time in the app's settings; HiveFoldr remains usable without these features. Further detail on how these features process your content is set out in our Privacy Policy.

HiveFoldr's AI features are designed to help you organise and understand your own home information. They do not provide professional legal, financial, property, building, engineering, gas, electrical, insurance, medical, or other regulated professional advice, and nothing generated by HiveFoldr should be relied upon as such. You should seek advice from a suitably qualified professional for any decision that requires it.

6. Household sharing

HiveFoldr lets you share property, document, task and expense information with people you invite to your household. You are responsible for choosing who you invite and what you choose to share with them.

7. Acceptable use

When using HiveFoldr, you agree not to:

  • use it in any way that breaches applicable law or regulation;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to HiveFoldr or any systems connected to it;
  • introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful material;
  • use automated tools to extract data from HiveFoldr without our permission; or
  • use HiveFoldr to store or share content that is unlawful, infringes someone else's rights, or that you do not have the right to share.

8. Your content

You retain ownership of the property information, documents, photos and other content you add to HiveFoldr ("your content"). By adding content to HiveFoldr, you grant us a licence to store, process and display it as needed to provide HiveFoldr to you and, where applicable, to the household you share it with. We do not claim ownership of your content.

9. Suspension, termination and deletion

You can delete your account and content at any time within the app's settings. We may suspend or terminate your access to HiveFoldr if you breach these Terms, or if we reasonably believe doing so is necessary to protect HiveFoldr, other users, or ourselves.

10. Availability and changes to HiveFoldr

We may change, suspend, or discontinue HiveFoldr, or any part of it, from time to time. We do not guarantee that HiveFoldr will always be available or free from interruptions, delays, or errors.

11. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under the law of England and Wales.

Subject to the paragraph above, and to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, HiveFoldr, or from any decision made in reliance on information organised or generated within it, including indirect or consequential loss.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any dispute relating to these Terms or HiveFoldr is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time as HiveFoldr changes. The date at the top shows when they were last updated. Continuing to use HiveFoldr after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
